Ovarian follicles \u2013 what are they?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Every woman on the planet was born with all the follicles she will ever have. These formed in the ovaries during the foetal development stage and at birth there could be anything between 600,000 and 1,000,000 ovarian follicles<\/strong>. At this stage they are not eggs but primordial follicles<\/strong> and there is a long process to go through before they mature.<\/p>\n
