I’m writing this holding my one week old miracle daughter. My son was born 4.5 years ago and after his birth we went through a miscarriage, two chemical pregnancies and four additional failed cycles. We were beginning to think it would never happen for us. And then my doctor in my country suggested we try IVI Valencia as they deal with complex cases and he recommended Dr. Elena Labarta to us in particular. The key difference for us was their link to an immunology department in their Madrid facility who ran blood tests not available in our country and who subsequently identified a number of issues as a result which could be mitigated against using medications. Dr. Labarta was so warm and kind and Carolina was always on hand to address any questions we had. Doing IVF abroad didn’t come without its challenges especially when navigating it with a small child at home and given the short notice required to get to Spain but holding my precious bundle here it was worth every bit of it. We will be forever grateful to both IVI Valencia and also to our clinic doctor here who was humble enough to admit they had tried everything they could here and Valencia offered us our best chance.

We’re very satisfied with IVI. Thanks to IVI and our doctor Silvia Gonzalez, now we’re almost 4.5 months pregnant. After comparing 5 clinics, finally we chose IVI. The fact has proved that we made a good decision. With very low amh and also endometriosis, we were even told by one of the clinics famous in BCN that go directly with the egg donar option, according to that clinic, it’s impossible to take my eggs out without breaking my cysts. All of the other clinics we have visited told me that they wanted to go with the highest medication dose ( because they want to see how my body reacts to the medication). After doing a lot of research on my own, I believe in my situation, I should try with a softer dose. This idea Which was also supported by my fertility acupuncture doctor. She recommended Dra Silvia specifically in IVI. When we met her, without telling her what I wanted, Dra Silvia recommended me to use the mild dose to start. I started the cycle with only two seen eggs, Dra Silvia encouraged us a lot to go with it anyway. It turned out trusting her and her team is very correct. Every time we go for the visits, Dra Silvia and the rest of the IVI team always made us feel very supported, they also responded to our questions ( after treatments) very fast. We also have attend one of the experience the laboratory organised. It definitely made me feel more confident in their lab. The last thing I want to say to IVI is that I’ll appreciate more if we can be given a paper of advices about what to do/eat after transfer.

After several failed attempts in the hospital, IVI took a sensitive and tailored approach to our situation, and in the first round of treatment, made our dreams come true after almost 10 years of waiting! Everything was extremely clean, professional, and tailored to our needs. Worth every penny!

I saw Dr Bermúdez today at IVI Mallorca and felt genuinely well looked after. I’d had appointments at other clinics in Germany and was nervous, but he understood my feelings very well, took away my fears, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly, which made a real difference.
