A team of pioneering research professionals.
Over the past decade, IVI has undertaken almost 2,000 assisted reproduction treatments for patients from all over the Balearic Islands. Now, with the birth of IVI Mallorca, the Group has a presence in the Balearics via its centres in Mallorca; in Palma and Manacor together with its other centres in Ibiza and Menorca. Our arrival in the Balearic Islands has been undertaken by the Balearic Infertility Institute, IBILAB, the leading fertility centre in the Balearics for the past twenty years with more than 5,000 babies born.
At IVI Mallorca we can offer the expertise of a team of prestigious specialists to fulfill the demand for treatments without having to travel outside of the Balearic Islands. IVI Mallorca is headed up by Dr. Clara Colomé.
If you want to realise your dream of becoming a mother, IVI Mallorca can help you to achieve your goal.
No, there is no waiting list at IVI to begin assisted reproduction treatment. During the first visit, the specialist will request the necessary diagnostic tests, and once the best treatment option has been chosen, the start date of the process will be determined.
The first infertility visit must be precise and as soon as possible to make an accurate diagnosis of infertility. It involves reviewing the medical history, reproductive backgrounds, and possible previous treatments. A gynecological examination is conducted, and ovarian reserve is evaluated by determining levels of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH). In the case of heterosexual couples, semen analysis is also performed. Additionally, there may be cases where the specialist recommends additional tests for a better diagnosis. With all this information, the results are analyzed, and the most appropriate treatment is proposed.
