Josep Pla

Josep Pla is the lead genetic counsellor and coordinator of the Reproductive Genetics Unit for the IVI RMA clinics. He graduated got his degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2013 and obtained his MSc in Genetic Counselling from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2015.

Training

Josep Pla is the lead genetic counsellor and coordinator of the Reproductive Genetics Unit for the IVI RMA clinics. He graduated got his degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2013 and obtained his MSc in Genetic Counselling from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2015.

In 2017, he joined the IVI RMA group, where he has developed his expertise in reproductive genetic counselling. Josep is an active member in the scientific community, having been chair to the Spanish Society of Genetic Counsellors (SEAGen), and being part of the special interest groups in reproductive genetics for both the Spanish Society of Fertility (SEF) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology  (ESHRE).
