IVI devotes the collection of teaming for two social projects on health and childhood

• 10.000 € will be donated to the two winners selected by the workers themselves.
• This action is part of the IVI Social Responsibility Policy.

Within its commitment in the context of the Corporate Social Responsibility, one of the aims of IVI is to involve its professionals in the fight against social inequalities. In such a way, through their “Teaming” project, the group employees have the possibility to make small donations of one euro per month for social purposes.

“The philosophy of Teaming goes hand in hand with the values of the company, developing the culture of team work, pulling together small efforts which in the end, represent more significant actions. As a result of this team solidarity, this year two social-profit organizations will receive help to develop their projects. To the donations carried out by the workers, IVI has added double the number of the quantity collected, which means, therefore, a total donation of 5.000€ for each project”, says Luís Saurat, Managing Director of IVI.

The first, Terre des hommes foundation, through its project “Journey to Life”, offers the possibility for children from African countries to be transferred to Spain to start different urgent medical treatments and save them from death or total disability prematurely.  About 60 children will benefit from the aid.

On the other hand, the second project selected, will devote the donation to ASPANION (Association of children with cancer in the Valencian Community) association which provides social, psychological and economical attention to children affected by cancer and their families, with the aim to improve their medical and welfare state.

This year about 400 IVI professionals participated in the selection of Teaming projects, an example of the social involvement of the workers of this company.
